<aside> 🎆 The fight is yet before us, a real test is to come. Behold! A dastardly space presence has agreed to teach our space crew to assess failure, but first we must pass their task. Issues plague prototypes, we're in need of testing to identify needed solutions. We must galvanize and train to triage our own before we can tackle a foe as a team. As space crews empower others to take charge, so shall we practice in sharing test findings to help forge ahead on a path to mission success. Truth will come for us, but first we test.

Background

In this unit, you will work individually to review and evaluate an existing product. Along the way, you may collaborate, you can share ideas and practice, but make sure to do your own work—this mission is meant to be done solo.

Over the next week, you will have executed a number of approaches to evaluating usability. You've been training already, getting practice with heuristics evaluations, but next week we will continue, discussing accessibility and looking at requirements. Where usability is the name of the game in this challenge, you will learn about test plans, executing moderated and unmoderated usability tests, and reporting on insights. Learn about what makes these products great, what they're trying to do, and ways that they can be more effective. But don't wait! Be resourceful and start testing.
